When asked what I wanted to do in life over a year ago, I didn't know exactly. When asked what I was passionate about in life, I had to think. What was I passionate about? Then it hit me - Photography. Where do I see myself in a few years? As a successful and professional photographer. That's when a smile appeared on my face, and the trajectory of my life changed right before my eyes. In that moment, I decided to ask myself - "Where do I go from here?" And Schaffner's Captures was passionately created.

After sitting down and thinking about why I'm so passionate about photography, it dawned on me --- You go through life, you see what happens, and of course you see the beauty. How many times do you actually stop and breathe it in, take a look at it, let it sink in that this is your world, life, and all this beauty surrounds you everyday?

Every day that I get older, of course there's been devastating events that have made me question what's happening, and after standing back, I saw that photography was the outlet for how to deal with those events.

Looking back, there's been some people in my life that I wish I got more photos with. Will I always have the memories that the photos would have captured? ABSOLUTELY! I also believe though, that having those photos would be a lifelong treasure that I could cherish. That's where my love for photography has come in! Knowing that there are moments in life that deserve to be captured and be able to provide that for myself or anyone else has been a blast!

I absolutely enjoy going out, being behind the lens, and being in Las Vegas, NV, taking advantage of everything that surrounds, indoors and outdoors!
