Hi! I’m Austyn, your soon-to-be favorite photographer and hype person behind Schaffner’s Captures!
I’m all about creating sessions that feel easy, fun, and completely natural, because the best photos happen when you’re just being you.
I started this in 2023 as a passion project, and it quickly became everything. Now it’s what I get to do every day, capture real moments, real connections, and the energy that makes your story yours.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m with my family (and our chaos of pets), probably making bad jokes, which, honestly, you’ll hear during your session too!
This isn’t just about photos. It’s about creating an experience you actually enjoy, and memories you’ll want to relive forever.

What got me into photography were the everlasting memories. What lasts forever are memories, and if those memories are captured and can be looked back on whenever, it’s something magical to be able to relive them over and over again, never forgetting who you were with, the feelings you got, and what happened.
